4th of July in Pigeon Forge, TN

"ON THE ROAD AGAIN....I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO GET ON THE ROAD AGAIN...."

And so we ran off to TN for the 4th of July. We're the only people I know that just get in a car and GO. So what if we don't have a suitcase, a change of "bloomers & drawers" or a toothbrush. That's why so many Walmarts stay in business! We're just helping out with the economy, you know. We didnt even bring our scooters! But we figured we could scout out some places for parking a cargo trailer.

We started out on the Blue Ridge Parkway. And now Jeff says he will NEVER go on the Parkway ever again. ;) We drove down to Asheville, hit I-40, and hey...guess where we are?

So where do you stay when you decide to drive down on the night of July 3rd? Any darn place you can find!

And picture is just for Jeff's mom...she loves "lightbulb warm" food. ;)

Our favorite little creekside spot on the way into Gatlinburg where we like to to eat Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the morning. Oh yes, I can hear Jeff now...because "THERE'S NO DIET ON VACATION!"
